A sacred space where the importance of your life challenges will be honored, respected and understood.

Ernest Hemingway

“The world breaks everyone and afterward many are strong at the broken places.”

This quote is of one of Ernest Hemingway's most cherished passages. It speaks of truths that resonate deeply within.

I love this quote because it celebrates the spirit of overcoming. It reminds us that we are resilient beings who have an amazing ability to heal. We can recover from painful wounds, thrive after trauma, and even flourish after tragedy.

Psychotherapy is a sanctuary to navigate the difficult challenges and painful experiences of your life…a refuge to heal and grow. Whether grappling with past trauma or the complexities of the now, therapy offers a compassionate place to address your concerns with an open heart. While the work can be challenging, it is also rewarding by offering a path to usher in a new story for your life.

As a psychologist, I often have a front row seat to such a beautiful view of humanity. While there is much talk these days about conflict and division, in therapy, I see people striving to heal and connect. I witness them work through difficult experiences, and transform in remarkable ways. These are the ones who become what Hemingway called “strong at the broken places”.

Therapy is a sacred space where the importance of your life challenges will be honored, respected and understood...a place where you can heal and find hope again. The promise of the journey is in the transformation that can occur.

Blessings to us all as we hear the call within that nudges us to begin the journey.

“Every single person has a story that will break your heart. And if you’re paying attention, many people have a story that will bring you to your knees. Nobody rides for free.

Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing we’ll ever do.”

— Brené Brown
